No joke, no subscription, no catch: we're giving you a canvas …
You can't touch quality online. So we're sending it to you.
… and you decide on your own wall whether dotcomcanvas lives up to its promise.
From the desk of: Tim Schmidt
Chemnitz, October 2026
Why are we giving canvases away?
Before I explain why we're giving canvases away, a quick word about me.
I founded DOTCOMCANVAS in Chemnitz, Germany, in 2018. No investors, no big team, just one idea: wall art that does more than decorate. Art that reminds you every morning why you get up.
In the beginning I chose every design, checked every order and answered every customer question myself. Today our art hangs in the homes of more than 60,000 customers, in XXXLutz, BAUHAUS and Möbel Inhofer stores, with creators like Knossi and MontanaBlack, and in our showroom in Dubai.
One thing hasn't changed: once someone has a dotcomcanvas on their wall, they come back. That's exactly why we're making this offer.
Honestly, there are two reasons.
1. We want you to hold our quality in your hands, not just see it in a photo.
We asked more than 3,000 customers what matters most when buying wall art. The most common answer: quality. But you can't touch quality online. So we flip it around and send you a canvas before you buy anything.
2. We know what happens once the first dotcomcanvas is on the wall.
Many of our customers then order a second, bigger piece. If you're one of them, we both win.
The canvas is on us. Our only ask: you cover shipping and packaging at €6.95. That's less than DHL and the box cost us. On top you get the phone and laptop wallpapers, our visualisation worksheet and a €50 voucher for your next big piece. And we add your €6.95 shipping back as store credit.

More than decor
What a dotcomcanvas changes on your wall
- A fixed anchor for your day. The canvas hangs where your eyes land first in the morning. No feed, no algorithm, no distraction.
- Visualise without having to think about it. What you see every day stays in your head. Your goal on the wall works for you, even while you're thinking about something else.
- A room that looks like success. Office, home office or living room: a real canvas changes the feel of a room instantly.
- A talking point for every visit. Our customers keep telling us that guests ask about the canvas first.
- A design hundreds of thousands have already loved. You choose from our 10 most-liked Instagram posts and our 10 bestsellers. No risk of picking a design nobody likes.
- Quality you can touch. Instead of comparing product photos, in a few days you'll hold the real canvas in your hands and decide for yourself.

A closer look at your gift
What goes into your free canvas
- Real canvas, not a paper print. Printed on canvas with visible texture, not on photo paper or film.
- Solid wooden frame. The canvas is stretched tight and stapled neatly so nothing sags.
- Printed around the edges. The design wraps around the frame, so it looks as good from the side as from the front.
- Rich, fade-resistant colours. So your canvas still looks like day one after years on a bright wall.
- Made to order. Your canvas is printed only when you order, then checked and packed securely.
- Licensed from real artists. Every artist shares in the success and is paid a licence fee for every canvas sold.

Maybe you're thinking …
“This sounds too good to be true.”
“A free canvas must be cheap quality.”
No. Your free canvas is exactly the same canvas we sell in our shop and that hangs in XXXLutz, BAUHAUS and Möbel Inhofer stores. We're giving it away precisely so you can see our quality. A poor canvas would only hurt us.
“Will it even match my interior?”
You choose from 20 designs, from minimal black and white to bold pop art. The 40 × 30 cm format fits above a desk, on a shelf, in a hallway or as part of a gallery wall. And if it doesn't fit, our guarantee has you covered.
“What's the catch at €0?”
There isn't one. No subscription, no hidden follow-up costs, no auto-renewal. You pay €6.95 once for shipping and packaging. We're betting you'll come back on your own, like many of our customers.
